PIRGs

We require that every user on Talapas belong to a group headed by a UO Principle Investigator. We call these groups Principal Investigator Research Groups or PIRGs. PIs are responsible for their PIRG members’ activity on the Talapas including compute usage and storage consumption. PIs have the authority to grant and revoke access to membership of their PIRG. And, PIs are the owner of all data belonging to the PIRG.
