How-to: Enable Globus Plus
What is Globus Plus?
Globus Plus is a feature that allows subscribers to share from their Globus Connect Personal (GCP) endpoints or perform GCP to GCP transfers. Access to this feature is controlled by the organization's Globus Plus Group.
Enable Globus Plus:
First, install and configured your Globus Connect Personal Endpoint
Next, follow the steps below to enable Globus Plus
Open a browser window to your Globus account page, https://app.globus.org/account
Click on the 'Globus Plus' tab
Click on the 'Add Globus Plus Sponsor' button, select the University of Oregon, select the appropriate Account Purpose, then click 'Submit Application"
Next, you will see Membership pending screen.
You will also receive an Membership pending email
You will receive a confirmation email once the group membership is approved.
