Data Transfer Nodes are available to end users that use Talapas. This is a dedicated resource for data movement in and out of Talapas.
This new service is located at dtn01.uoregon.edu or dtn02.uoregon.edu
There are various methods for data access open to all users:
- Traditional ways such as
scp(for example:scp file_name dtn01.uoregon.edu:~/your_folder) - Globus transfer mechanism for large data transfers across campus and to remote data repositories
